Tapeswitch^® Company Overview

Tapeswitch Ltd changed its name from Guardscan Ltd in 2001 to reflect the strength of the international Tapeswitch group of companies, of which it is a member. The Guardscan machine-guarding light-curtain products have been designed and manufactured since 1976 but since 1990 the company has also produced the Tapeswitch range of pressure-sensitive products for sale throughout Europe. Other Tapeswitch companies offer these products throughout the world

Tapeswitch Ltd's manufacturing facility, for both the Tapeswitch and Guardscan products, is based at our modern factory premises in Chorley, Lancashire.

Our manufacturing processes, from receiving an order right through to the despatch of goods, are designed to be accurate and efficient. This enables us to deal with the most demanding delivery schedules. Our British Standards Certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 ensures that we provide products to the highest quality.
